Campus School Students Will Put Their Hearts into Jump Rope Event

Students from the Campus School at the University of Memphis are jumping at a chance to help fight heart diseases and stroke, two of the nation's top killers. The school will hold its 24 th annual "Jump Rope for Heart" event Monday, Feb. 28, from 8:45 to 11:20 a.m. in the Elma Roane Field House. Students will jump rope to raise money for the American Heart Association, which funds research and public and professional education programs dealing with cardiovascular disease. The event is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
