To
help chart its future, the University of Memphis Alumni Association
is seeking ideas from the public. A special forum for that
purpose will take place Saturday, March 27, at the FedEx Institute
of Technology.
The
event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Complimentary breakfast
and lunch will be provided. Participants are welcome to come
for only a part of the day or to spend the entire day, whatever
their schedule will allow.
U
of M President Shirley Raines and other administrators, faculty,
staff, and students will also attend.
A nationally recognized alumni consultant will take part in
the meeting. He will discuss alumni programs at other universities,
"best practices," and ways to benchmark excellence.
Reservations,
which are necessary because of seating limitations, may be
made by calling 901-678-5314.
