Two Disability Studies Events on Campus in June

The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is pleased to announce two disability studies events on campus in June.

Dr. Aldred Neufeldt of the University of Calgary will present on the topic "Disability Studies from an International Perspective" on Friday, June 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fogelman Executive Center, room 123. A reception in the lower atrium will follow from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The presentation is open to all University of Memphis faculty and graduate students; registration is required.

On June 29, all university faculty, staff and interested community members are invited to join in the visioning of a new initiative at the University of Memphis: an institute in the area of disability research and education. This forward-looking event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the FedEx Institute of Technology; registration is required.
