Center
for Academic Transition Will Celebrate Opening Nov. 30

The
University of Memphis' Center for Academic Transition, which
opened in August, will hold a grand opening Nov. 30 from 2-3:30
p.m. in the Wilder Tower fifth floor lobby. Participants will
include U of M President Shirley Raines, Provost Ralph Faudree
and Dr. Yolanda Harper-Ray, assistant vice president for student
affairs/student development.
The
Center for Academic Transition houses the offices of Transfer
and Articulation, General Education, Degree Audit and Academic
1100, an introduction to University life course.
The
Center's mission is to promote success for students in transition
by providing them with resources and assistance to meet their
individual needs.
