Assistant Deans Yolanda Ingram and Sue Ann McClellan were recognized for their exemplary service and dedication in fulfilling the goals and mission of the Memphis Bar Association. Both were of great assistance to the Diversity Committee of the Memphis Bar Association in planning and organizing the events for the 2008 High School Summer Law Intern Program. They, along with other members of the Diversity Committee, helped welcome the participants at the opening ceremony. The events included professionalism and business etiquette workshops and undergraduate and law school admissions seminars presented at the law school. The law school was also the host location for the interviews for the selection process, and it served as a placement site for an intern. The primary goal of the program was to introduce diverse high school students to the real practice of law and ultimately have them pursue a career in law. | Other News and Features
