U of M’s Fogelman College Will Host Alumni Day Oct. 29

The Fogelman College of Business & Economics Alumni Chapter will host its 16th annual Alumni Day luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 11:30 a.m. at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn, 3700 Central Ave. Dr. Bill Evans, CEO of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, will be the keynote speaker.
Dan Palmer, former CEO of Concord EFS Inc., will be recognized as the College’s Outstanding Alumnus. David Sullivan, chairman of Sullivan Investments, will be named Distinguished Friend of the College. Wei Chen, CEO of Sunshine Enterprise Inc., will be honored as Entrepreneur of the Year.
Again this year the College will host the Alumni Guest Professor Program, in which Fogelman alumni return to the classroom to share their knowledge and experiences with students. Tickets for the luncheon are $55 per person, or $500 for a table of 10.
